BCAAR Build: Lighting the Pathway to Homeownership

BCAAR is partnering with Habitat for Humanity Battle Creek for our first-ever BCAAR Build! Volunteers will help with various projects to aid with the construction of new homes on North Cedar and W. Michigan Ave in Urbandale.

Volunteers will receive a t-shirt to wear during the event. Breakfast snacks will be provided in the morning and lunch in the afternoon for those who work both shifts. Invite your friends, family, and colleagues (ages 16+) to join!

  • Scroll down to 'Volunteering on a Habitat for Humanity Job Site'
  • Watch 18 min video and then complete the quiz
  • Enter your first and last name and select Michigan

NO SKILLS NECESSARY! Projects MAY include framing walls, setting trusses, roof work, nailing insulation board, nailing OSB board, shingling roof, installing siding, installing soffit, installing fascia, landscaping, nailing boards, installing blocking, digging holes, and foundation work. Volunteers must wear PPE (gloves, hard hats, eyewear, etc.) and will be provided by Habitat if needed.
