Building Equity: A Panel Discussion on Housing Justice in Battle Creek
Wednesday, June 5, 2024 (5:00 PM - 8:00 PM) (EDT)
Description
This enlightening panel discussion will draw insights from Rothstein's "Just Action" and Cashin's "White Space, Black Hood." Our goal is to cultivate a comprehensive understanding of housing inequity, explore actionable steps within the TRHT framework, and promote collaborative efforts among diverse communities. Catered food options for dinner will accommodate diverse dietary needs and there will be simultaneous interpretation available in Spanish.
In anticipation of our panel discussion on June 5th, we will be hosting book discussion sessions. We hope to help attendees connect with the material, fostering a more informed and interactive experience during the main event. These discussions aim to spark meaningful conversations and ensure a thoughtful exploration of the key themes presented in "Just Action" and "White Space, Black Hood." You can register for one of the sessions by clicking here. By registering for a book discussion, you are eligible to receive one (1) of the two books we will be discussing (limit 1 book per person).
